Mr. Tumnus, the Faun, asks Lucy how she got into Narnia. She tells him that she got there via a wardrobe
in a spare room. He takes her through the wood, to his home, for some tea. He tells her stories of life in the forest,
then Lucy says she must go. Mr. Tumnus tells Lucy at first that she can't go, because he's in the service of the White Witch,
who makes Narnia perpetually winter. The Faun then admits that he has basically just kidnapped her, but Lucy insists he can't
do this to her. The Faun agrees, because he is good-hearted and likes Lucy, so he helps her back to the lampost.
